I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

do you mean an import specification?   Yes

i meant the import spec.  I am not seeing where i could do that

the import specs are logged to tables MsysIMEXColumns and MSysIMEXSpecs
to see these tables ,
right click on the top of the navigation pane and select Navigations options
check the Show system Objects..

what do you want to change in the import spec?

if you are not certain what change,
- repeat the manual process of importing the file
- click the advanced button and click on Specs button
  - select the name of the import spec from the list
    - edit as necessary
