Rolling Average using a variable

Hello Experts,
I need help with a rolling average formula that looks at cell $D$2 for the number n to include in the average of the last [right-most] n columns containing data [or blank(s)]. The quantity of columns involved may extend from 1 to 200+ columns so the formula should be flexible to include infinite expansion to the right.

File attached with a formula that needs fixed.      RollingAverage.xlsx
Thanks in advance,
Berry

Hi Berry,

Please place this formula in cell [D6]:
=AVERAGE(OFFSET(E6,0,MATCH(2^99,E6:X6,1)-$D$2,,$D$2))

Copy down column [D] to row 28.

If you ever increase the total number of columns beyond column [X], change where I have marked in bold above, & re-copy down column [D].
