13508 replication issue

My client had inadvertently unplugged one of two domain controllers for an extended period of time and now of course replication fails. DNS is working fine; I seem to recall the fix is to remove one of the dcs(demote it) then promote again ?

Did you try to demote and promote the DC.

first run repadmin /replsummary on server and check for which server replication is failing,

If replication failure server is not available on network then you need to perform meatdata cleanup to remove failed DC from AD .
