as long as you have the good license to go along the installed iso, there should be no issue!

If an OEM iso is available from your OEM vendor you should preferably use that iso image to install esxi. Otherwise you risk an install without the optimal combination of drivers and you may also lose some functionality (for example, with an HP image you can use HP Smart Update to upgrade firmware while the server is up and running).

The use of an OEM iso is independent of using an ESXi OEM license so you are free to use a normal VMware license or you can use an OEM license if you need to.

thanks Lard for this info

we have 3 dell hosts poweredge r710
we have 2 Fujitsu primergy rx300 s7

and i can from my vmware download  the OEM custom Fujitsu image or Dell image .

but my point is

these hosts now up and ruining using ESXI 5.5  i installed them using the normal vmware ESXI iso image

now i upgrade the vcenter from 5.5 to 6.0 and installed vmware upgrade manager to upgrade the ESXI hosts to 6.0

so my point can i right now just mount the OEM Fujitsu ESXI 6.0  to the update manager and update the Fujitsu servers to 6.0 without any side effect to the host and the vms . and the same for Dell server

or i cant because from the beginning i don't install the original ESXI from OEM image

i hope you got my case

thanks

Hi,
Yes, you can import the Dell and Fujitsu images into update manager and you can normally upgrade the standard image with a OEM image. Some versions have had some issues (error message before the install starts) and then you must boot the server from the OEM iso (DRAC) and do the upgrade by following the install/upgrade wizard in the console.
