I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Did you install a vSAN demo license?
https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/evalcenter?p=vsan6

Note that you also need a disk controller that is on the vSAN HCL: http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php?deviceCategory=vsan

Your lab also need multicast capable switches that you may have to configure in order to get vSAN working.

this is how I did it in my EE Article

http://www.experts-exchange.com/articles/17475/HOW-TO-Set-up-a-lab-environment-for-vSAN-using-VMware-Workstation.html

(okay this is for 5.5!)

What if you set it to Manual, and then Click OK. (e.g. ignore the license message!)

Ah, you're trying to run a nested ESXi env. :)

Well, first you need to make sure each of your ESXi VMs have 6 Gb of memory, you also need vSAN 6.1 as 6.0 requires 3 ESXi VMs.

Here's a pretty good article describing how to do it on 6.0. 6.1 shouldn't be too different. :)
