Can not see trunk status when using command show interface trunk Catlyst 6500

Hi, I can see some trunk, but I cannot see other trunk when using command show interface trunk in switch 6500. The output of show ip interface brief and show run interface gx/x are up and trunk configured. Anyone can give me some suggestion ? Thank you

How about the remote switch configuration for the not working trunk interface?

does the not working trunk interfaces are assigned to any port-channel/ether channel interface?

can you collect the below command output from the switch and paste it here

#sh int trunk
#sh run int gix/y
#sh int gix/y

Thanks for your reply. Now I noticed the difference of configuration when I use command show run int gx/y. Please see below. We can see trunk in first one, but not see it in second one. it looks like it disappear after adding channel-group

interface GigabitEthernet5/5
 switchport
 switchport trunk allowed vlan 3
 switchport mode trunk
 spanning-tree portfast

interface GigabitEthernet6/6
  switchport
 switchport access vlan 3
 switchport trunk allowed vlan 9
 switchport mode trunk
channel-group 9 mode active

If you group interfaces into port-channel, the port channel will be the main interface and the grouped physical interfaces wont display in the #sh interface trunk command output

You can verify that, weather port-channel interface is working as trunk or not. Try this command to check

#sh interface trunk

If port-channel interfaces shown in the #sh int trunk and vlans are passing over the trunk, then the configuration is working fine.

I believe you should remove "spanning-tree portfast" from the trunk port configuration.
You should never configure it on the trunk.

@AlexBlinov, I saw some people put command "spanning-tree portfast" in trunk port. it should be in access port. what could happen if it is in trunk port ?

AlexBlinovCommented:
It should be only on the access port.
If you do it on the trunk port - it removes "spanning tree" from the port, so huge possibility for the loop.
