3com 4500 switch web console is not working.

Hi,
I just received a 3com switch from HP to replace an old one we have in production that has a fan broken. (same model)
I made an alignment of version and now the two switches are identical with the same files in the flash memory.
In the new one all the configuration has been imported correctly: vlans , ip management ecc... but unfortunately the web interface is not working .
When I type the url of the switch in internet explorer I get the prompt of authentication, then I enter username and password but I'm redirected to an unexacting page.

Do you have any idea where the problem is?

Thank you
CArlo

Can you try using a different browser for this?  I would suggest FireFox, Chrome, or Opera.
