My company is researching a project that will allow our clients to capture autographs/signatures on a mobile device. &nbsp;The functionality will need to work offline and on any of the major mobile operating systems. &nbsp;These signatures will be stored in a MS SQL Server database and displayed in reports in our main system, which is written in PowerBuilder 12.5. &nbsp;In my research I have found Microsoft's Digital Ink format that is natively supported by PowerBuilder's controls. &nbsp;My question is are there signature capture libraries available for each of the major mobile platforms (Android, iOS, Windows Mobile) that can export signatures to the Digital Ink format? &nbsp;I did some basic googling but didn't find anything.<br />

Support for Microsoft's Digital Ink Format on Android, iOS and WIndows Mobile Devices

Mobile

Android is a mobile operating system developed by Google, based on the Linux kernel and designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Android's user interface is based on direct manipulation, using touch gestures that loosely correspond to real-world actions, such as swiping, tapping and pinching, to manipulate on-screen objects, along with a virtual keyboard for text input. In addition to touchscreen devices, variants of Android are also used on notebooks, game consoles, digital cameras, televisions, automobiles and other electronics. Applications are usually developed in Java programming language using the Android software development kit (SDK), but other development environments are also available, including Delphi, Ruby and Visual Studio (using C++).

Android

iOS is a mobile operating system developed by Apple; it is a derivative of the Mac OS X desktop operating system, with which it shares many (but not all) common frameworks and other components. These include Cocoa Touch, the Mach/Darwin/XNU kernel and code from the Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD). Each iOS application runs in its own secure sandbox to prevent altering other applications, the operating system, or any other data.
