Remove "Skype for Business"

Some PCs at my job come with "Skype for Business" installed and a sign-in pop-up keeps appearing. I'd like to remove this but it doesn't even appear in Programs and Features. How do I get rid of this?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

On your keyboard, press the Windows key  and R at the same time. The Run window opens.
Type appwiz.cpl and click OK.
Select Skype from the list, right-click and select Remove or Uninstall.

This thread at the Windows Forum should help:
Skype for business removal, it will not allow me to remove it?

Note the links to these two articles:
Lync Online is becoming Skype for Business
Lync is now Skype for Business — see what's new

Turns out that "Skype for Business" is not really Skype — it is actually Lync. That's why you don't find it in Programs and Features and why you can't uninstall it from there (whether you go there via the Control Panel applet icon or via the appwiz.cpl technique that Alex posted). Btw, the "normal" Skype program does appear in Programs and Features and can be uninstalled from there:

Uninstall Skype
