Office 365, Outlook Search Email won't do partial strings with special characters?

Is there a way to do an exact search for a partial string in emails with special characters as well?

For example, in my junkmail, I'd like to search for every email that has the string "asi/" in the subject line (excluding the quotes), where there may be characters immediately following the /.  If it were a straightforward search function with wildcards it would seem to be as easy as searching for asi/*

I've tried advanced find and regular search, and couldn't get either one to work.  I either get all items with asi, but not the / character, or I get no results at all.

Google searches showed others with similar issues, but they were older posts and no real resolution.  Any ideas?

There is actually a trick here =) You need to use Advanced Find here and even more: in Advanced Find dialog you need to open the Advanced tab select Subject field there, specify "contains" condition and "ans/" as a value with quotes.
