help needed running migration wiz on exchange 2010 public folders

Can some please help with  the exact syntax needed as this is my first migration? I need full access / full permissions.  can't be done though the emc right?  thanks a lot!

Run the following cmdlet to ensure that admin account that is being used for your Public Folder migration has the necessary permissions on all source Public Folders:

Get-PublicFolder –Server <ServerName> -recurse | Add-publicfolderclientpermission –Server <ServerName> -User "domain.local/user/migrationwiz" –accessrights "owner"

It's exchange 2010.

it should be still working

the user could be the name of the user like -user "migrationwiz"

you also need to have the account you run has organization management OR public folder management group

Get-PublicFolder –ServerNYC -recurse | Add-publicfolderclientpermission –ServerNYC -User "domain.local/user/migrationwiz" –accessrights "owner"

this syntax will work?

also org mgmt OR pub folder mgmt group.  but this alone won't be enough perms right?  there no way to create another group for this?  What about EMC?

Is that snytax?  the user IS exchange mail enabled.

the last one if powershell ?
Jian An LimSolutions ArchitectCommented:
1. run

get-mailbox migrationwiz

p/s: you must have a mailbox for the user

2. the command is
get-publicfolder -server <server> -recurse | add-publicfolderclientpermission -user (get-mailbox migrationwiz) -accessrights  "owner"

you can't specific -server again @ add-publicfoldeclientpermission.
in fact, if you have one 1 server, i will even remove -server because it is not really required.
metalfubarAuthor Commented:
the mailbox is already there.

Add-PublicFolderClientPermission -Identity "\mypublicfolder" -User migrationwiz -AccessRights "owner"

it says it's already there. is this enough full access / full permissions to migrate the folders?
Jian An LimSolutions ArchitectCommented:
the above command only will allow to access to that folder not every folder
you need to recurse this to every folder.

Get-PublicFolder –recurse | Add-publicfolderclientpermission –User "migrationwiz" –accessrights "owner"

you always can test migrate from migrationwiz to confirm the rights and etc
