How to setup a IPSEC VPN with Forticlient for multiple users with different access

This is using Fortigate 110D firewall with firmware 5.2.3. I wanted to setup a IPSEC VPN so a remote users can dialup with Forticlient to connect, for accessing company network. Setup a common VPN gateway on Fortigate is quite straight forward for a group of users with same resources access. But, how about if I want to allow different users have different resources access? for example, dialup user a can only access server a, and user b can has full access, and so on for other users?

Please show step-by-step. Thanks in advance.

For me the VPN hardware box (Juniper for me, Fortinet for you) just allows access to the network. Server Security is a function of the servers and the VPN box normally does not provide this.

Set up servers and folders so that only those permitted can access. Someone else coming in via VPN for some reason will not have access.

This is just like people on your local LAN - same thing. People on the LAN must have proper server credentials to get access.
