I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The "FREE" route
I think this is first and foremost a front end web UI issue. There are many options available, such as | | | |!/example | | more. Once you identify the option you want, then you can investigate how it serialises the data and saves into, then see how you can make ASP.NET receive that data and you can serialise it to your backend.

Commercial options:
There are also several commercial ASP.NET Diagramming toolkits available (the work to integrate with ASP.NET has already been done): Telerik (I've used), Nevron, SyncFusion

Thank you so much for your response.

I was looking to Telerik option that you have used. We are willing to use the telerik, as you have used this. Just quick follow up question on RadDiagrams.

1) Can I customize the Yes/No shape to a rectangular shape and add an image icon to the shape?
2) How Can I open a jQuery pop up when clicking any of the shape and saves its state?

Thank you.
Yes. You can customize the shapes. They support Custom Shapes and Shape Templates. They are quite flexible in what you can do. I'll look up some links for you.
