Outlook 2010 crashes when I try printing

When I try to print in outlook 2010, it crashes.  I have renamed the outlprn file, repaired Office 2010, and when I looked, I already had "enable live preview" checked.  It does this only with more complex emails.

If you are unable to take print directly from outlook 2010. Need to update for newer version. check for update, if available  then easily  update your outlook and you will be able to take print.

If nothing is work for you, then try second option. First save your content as pdf file or print as pdf to local. Now take print to your pdf. it will be tricky work but access to printer easily.

did you try to repair Outlook?
got o installed programs in Control panel, you can select outlook, or office to repair

Hey if above result not work for you then not rename your outlprn file just delete it from following location
Close Outlook and delete 'outlprnt' file from the following location and verify the results:

‘C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook\’.

And also check what is your default printer if one note or Microsoft document viewer then also change them from your installed printer.

to change default printer follow to these steps

To do set the default printer tray from within Outlook 2013, select the email

you would like to print. Select the File tab (Alt F) and select Print (Alt P). Double mouse click on Memo Style (Alt Y2), open the Paper tab (Ctrl tab one time) and go to the Paper Source selection box (tab three times). Select the paper tray you would like to use (use the down arrow to select the paper tray). Select OK (tab nine times, then press the enter key). You may now select Print to print your Outlook 2013 document from the selected tray (Alt P two times).

try switching default printer to MS Document Writer and if that doesn't work then the fault lies in outlook so we can focus there.

If, as I suspect, it does work then the issue is with your print driver and/or spooler. Check you have the latest printer driver with the manufacturers website and/or try reducing complexity by printing in black and white, draft quality.

if that fails change the print spooler option to 'print immediately' rather than 'wait for document to finish spooling' under the advanced tab of the printer properties page

If neither of these work then run a system filecheck

I don't have MS Document Writer in my printer list.  How do I get it and put it there?

I changed the default printer to MS document.  It didn't help.  In the spooler settings, there is no setting called "Print Immediately" do I selected "Disable".  It didn't help.

What happens when you try to print from other applications like Word or even from a web browser? If you get errors there, too, it could be some corrupted system files.

Try opening up a command prompt and run sfc /scannow and let it complete, then restart your PC and try to print again.

Hi William,
    I can print in all other applications, though Office Word has had some issues with the mouse cursor that I seem to be able to fix by doing a repair.  I ran the scannow and the message came up

"Windows Resource Protection did not find andy integrity violations."
I am going to reboot and try printing again now

Rebooted.  Now it says there is no printer in all applications.  The only one showing in the printers sections is my canon MX882

Uninstall that printer, then reinstall it. Sounds like you got some kind of weird driver issue going on.

You wouldn't happen to have another printer nearby that you could test with?

got spooler working, now I can't print on any application.  Will reinstall printer

Removed printer, restarted and Printer was there, but not as MS generic.  IT IS NOW PRINTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for everyones help
