Great Plains (GP 2013) - Payables Management

Our CFO is asking us to track lost discounts during a period when an employee was out on medical leave. Is there a SQL view or smartlist that would show us lost discounts?  Thanks..

This is for accounts payable (PM)

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you are tracking the discounts available in the GL, you should be able to see the discount available (DISAMTAV) vs. discount taken (DISTKNAM) in the PM30200 table.

Something like:

select sum(DISAMTAV - DISTKNAM) Discount_Lost
from PM30200
where DINVPDOF between '2015-08-01' and '2015-08-31'

Sorry, you might want to restrict this to invoices only and non voided transactions, so:

select sum(DISAMTAV - DISTKNAM) Discount_Lost
from PM30200
where DINVPDOF between '2015-08-01' and '2015-08-31'
and DOCTYPE = 1 and VOIDED = 0

Don't forget to change the date range to what you need.
