Networking Mac and PC computers

We have two Macs and two PCs. We want one to install them on the home network and be able to communicate with all of them from any one of them. One PC running Windows 8.1 and the other is running Windows 10. One Mac is running Yosemite and the other is running Snow Leopard. There used to be a product called network Magic and we consider installing it but the feedback I'm getting from other users seems to indicate that this version (5.0) is not consistent with the operating systems involved. Can anyone help locate a software program that will automate the task of connecting these computers?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
