looping through records returned

how do i loop through records returned in VBA.

So far i have this:

dim strSelect as string

strSelect = "SELECT FirstName, LastName FROM Table"


How would i loop through all the records returned?

you have to open the sql statement as recordset

dim rs as dao.recordset
dim strSelect as string

 strSelect = "SELECT FirstName, LastName FROM Table"

set rs=currentdb.openrecordset(strSelect)

do until rs.eof

' your codes here to do what you want for each record
msgbox rs!Firstname & " " & rs!Lastname
    rs.movenext
loop
