how do i position a text beneath my headers

Hi,

I am trying to position a text entitle "subtitle" beneath my header called contact us.

I have attached pictures for your information.

Should i assigned the subtitle to a div tag? At the moment I assigned it to a span as shown in the pictures.

Please refer and let me know.

Regards, B

Ans: Please clarify that, div is a block element, span is inline element. so if you want to content to be grouped, use DIV!

I am trying to position a text entitle "subtitle" beneath my header called contact us.
Ans: Put outer div container to keep the content grouped and specify the of width container
<div class="ci-title-container">
     <div class="ci-title">Contact Us</div>
     <span class="subtitle">subtitle</span>
</div>

Can you draw and post your expected result/page (and your current page), so we can give proper solutions to you?

In general, if you specify width to DIV, following DIV comes next to it, as by default all HTML element follows "FLOW"
