Update mapping table using VBA

I have a process where i get updated mapping tables using a key in Column U - its very manual - vlookups etc

I would like some code that checks

(1) if the keys are the same
(2) if they are, are W,X or Z different
(3) if they are different - put whatever name is in new mapping into Mastersheet

In this instance, after code was ran -  MasterSheet would be W (Batman) - X (Bob Builder) & Z (Denis Menace).

Any other sugegstions / processes would be appreciated - thanks!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

will vlookup formula fulfill your requirement?

in Mastersheet, cell W2, put formula:
=VLOOKUP(U2,'New Mapping'!U:Z,3,FALSE)

and drag down accordingly.

in Mastersheet, cell X2, put formula:
=VLOOKUP(U2,'New Mapping'!U:Z,4,FALSE)

and drag down accordingly.

in Mastersheet, cell Z2, put formula:
=VLOOKUP(U2,'New Mapping'!U:Z,6,FALSE)

and drag down accordingly.

your current workbook's Calculation options is set as Manual, you would need to change it to Automatic instead...
