Visio 2013 - Isometric Background

Hi,

I do a lot of network diagrams, and I use a template that has an isometric background to the diagram, however this background never prints or if I 'select all' and 'copy' the drawing - to paste into a document for example - it does not get copied over.

I assume Visio is setting it as a background and not adding it to the drawing. How do I include it

This is Vision 2013.

Chances are it is a background, and in Visio that means it's on a background page. If the diagram was created using the default names, look for a page call Background-1, or VBackground-1. It will be to the right of all of your foreground pages.

There isn't an automated way to move a background page but it's not too hard:
In the existing diagram:
1) Go to the back ground page, select all, and then copy.

In the new diagram:
1) On the Insert tab, in the Pages group, click the New Pages arrow, and then click Background Page.
2) Leave the page name as is or change it, and then click OK.
3) Paste.
4) Right-click the page name tab of a foreground page on which you want the background to appear, and then click Page Setup.
5) Select the name of the background page from the Background dropdown list, and then click OK.
