Users on newly added Exchange 2010 server cannot send or receive emails

Here is my environment :

Domain : Windows 2008 R2
Exchange version : Exchange 2010

I have an environment consisting of:

3 x Mailbox only servers
2 x Hub Transport,Client Access servers
3 x Hub Transport , Client Access, Mailbox servers

I recently added one more server with  Hub Transport , Client Access, Mailbox server to the Exchange organization at a remote site.
This site also contains a working successfully replication writeable WIndows 2008 R2 domain controller. (Which was promoted befoe the exchange install)

The problem I have here now is that I moved 5 users from a working Exchange server to this new server and they have not been able to receive or send any emails.
They can succesfully connect to their mailbox but cannot send or receive any email. Their old emails before the move remain and when I force a send receive , I get a "updated" message in outlook but the fact is no new emails are sent through

Could someone please give me some tips on what to check or how I can fix this?I have spent the past two dqys trying to figure this without any success.

Thanks in advance.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The Exchange server with the issue, is this the first one you have installed at that remote site? Have you allowed all the relevant firewall ports in/outbound?

Please try running a test-mailflow and post your results - https://exchangeserverpro.com/exchange-2013-test-mail-flow/ (valid for 2010)

Thanks Stuart. The test had a result of fail. The problem server is COOEXM0101 .(Please see attached )

Apologies this Question fell off my radar, how are you getting on? It this still an issue?

Thanks for the follow up Stuart.

After much troubleshooting, I read somewhere on the web, that If you have Cisco ASA Firewalls between your mail servers, then you would need to remove esmtp from the default inspection map.

I passed this information to my Network team and this resolved the issue once  esmtp was removed from the defauklt inspection map on the firewall.
