Cisco 3850 port channel error

Hi,

I was transferring a port channel from a 3750 to a 3850 stack. When I check the log on the 3850, I have those errors:

%FED_PM_ERRMSG-3-HW_ERROR: MEMBER: 3 fed:  Port Manager error -port mode dtp: hardware update failed.

Everything is working ok but I just want to make sure I didn't miss something.

PO configurations:
interface Port-channel3
 description Etherchannel connection
 switchport trunk native vlan 99
 switchport trunk allowed vlan 10,97,210,802,988,989
 switchport mode trunk
 switchport nonegotiate
 spanning-tree portfast trunk
end

Maybe it's when I patched them? Like when I patched the first port the stack detected 3 other members were not patch yet??
Thanks

Yes, this is a stack membership error.
Are the members identical?
show switch stack-ports
Also, run show switch and identify the 3rd member of the stack, that;s where the problem is

That is bug CSCul30426, problem with native VLAN.

Conditions:
This defect is seen when trying to build a port-channel between a 3850 and any other switch with the following conditions:
1. The native vlan is in the suspended state
or
2. The native vlan is not present in the vlan database.

Workaround:
Once you created the layer two vlan or change it to an "active" state, the port-channel will form as expected.

Affected version of IOS is 15.0(1.1)EX.
