How to unlink Yahoo email accounts.

A long time ago I followed some steps on a yahoo website on linking email accounts.  I can now see two when I log in to only one.  After logging in I can hover over my name in the upper right hand corner of the screen and a drop down box appears, I can click on another email account and switch over.  This is now causing problems with checking my email on my iphone.  I need to unlink these accounts.  I have scoured yahoo's help website and can't find any help ...well I found something that explained how to go to an account page that is not there, the info must be old, so I cannot do what they say.  I can sign out of one account but I cannot unlink them. Both are very important to me, I communicate with different sets of people, clients vs family etc. and don't want to jeopardize these email accounts but I need to unlink them.   FYI one is a free email account  example@yahoo.com and the other is one that I get with my webhosting package example@mydomain.com. (I have explored the webhosting controller page, the free yahoo account is not there so I don't think that is important, the email addresses are independent of each other, plus I had the free account many years before the my domain account).  Also, neither of the accounts are aliases of the other.  Thanks for all your help.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The only way that I know of can be found on Yahoo's site:

Thank you for this. After reading the link you provided I checked the alias page of my yahoo accounts and my two different emails are not listed as an alias and the option to delete is not available.   Continued help is needed.   Thanks!

I will have to step aside for someone more knowledgeable as I don't know any way to "link" Yahoo accounts except by using alias.  I do know that I have multiple accounts and I have my tablet set up with both accounts and I simply switch between them but they are not linked. I actually had to add both accounts.

No one has answered my question.  I was trying to unlink my yahoo accounts so I could use them on my iphone separately.  I discovered that my iphone was not accepting yahoo business mail accounts, only the free ones.  I found pages that showed how to manually load Yahoo email accounts here.  This worked regardless of having one business and one free account tethered together when on a computer.
