SMTP route for Branchoffice

I need to configure SMTP route for our branch office domain (branchoffice.com) to route SMTP email flow via our domain (headoffice.com). So far I have configured the followings:

1. Created a Receive connector for (branchoffice.com) in the HUB transport server and allowed branchoffice.domain email server to send email via our HUB transport server.

2. I have also created a External Relay domain in HUB transport server for branchoffice.domain to relay an email server outside our exchange organization.

Brachoffice.domain administrator created a SMTP send connector and defined SMART host for our HUB transport server as well. Now I will test the email flow, meaning that branchoffice.domain admintrator will try to send email via headoffice.domain domain.

Could you please advise that am i missing any other configuration?
Both branchoffice and headoffice email serves are exchanve 2010.

Thank you Amit for your reply, branch office admin is not available until Monday (September 28th) and we have a test plan accordingly, and surely update on this post, but little worried about incoming traffic for branchoffice.dom,  for that could you please clarify what about receiving email? Since their domain is different and our domain is also different. I have checked MX record is published for branchoffice.com as well.

We are using iron port and our MX is public IP is pointing to ironport IP,

i. should I take another public IP for brachoffice domain and publish as an additional MX record with that IP  and point that new MX IP to IRON port, so as to receive email for branchoffice.com domain.
ii. Then create forwarder in IRON port to forward branchofffice HUB transport server. please advise.

Do you have VPN tunnel in between branch office and head office?  If yes then limit bandwidth that will be better.
