jQuery AJAX Call Breaks with Friendly URLs

I've been using this AJAX call for a while now and it's been working great.
    return $.ajax(
    {
        type: "POST",
        url: location.href.replace("#", "") + "/FastLoad_All",
        data: "{startDate:'" + startDate + "', endDate:'" + endDate + "'}",
        contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8",
        dataType: "json",
        success: FastLoad_Callback,
        error: GeneralCallbackFailure
    });

Open in new window

Then I started using friendly URLs and it now fails to locate the web method in the code-behind. How do I modify this to work with friendly URLs?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Problem solved

This was driving me crazy.

Inside ~/App_Start/RouteConfig.cs change:

settings.AutoRedirectMode = RedirectMode.Permanent;
To:

settings.AutoRedirectMode = RedirectMode.Off;
(Or just comment the line)

Also if friendly URLs are enabled you need to change

url: "ConsultaPedidos.aspx/GetClients",
To:

url: '<%= ResolveUrl("ConsultaPedidos.aspx/GetClients") %>',
Hope this help somebody else
