Screenshot on Iphone 6

I need to take an iPhone 6 screenshot.

All I find is press & hold the home button, then press "Sleep / Wake". When I do that, I get a photo taking click & Siri pops up (replacing the screen I had) asking what I want. The screen shot is NOT in my photos.

What's the trick?

FYI, in my opinion, Siri is a worthless waste of time, it NEVER is able to answer  ANYTHING.

Is there a way to turn it off?

Thanks

Press and hold the Home button + the Sleep / Wake button.  You should hear a 'click' then let go immediately of the buttons (not the phone! :) )

Turn off Siri:
Go to Settings
Siri
Toggle Off
"I need to take an iPhone 6 screenshot."

Display anything you want to snap on your iPhone 6 screen:
Simply press and hold the “Home” button and then press the “Sleep/Wake” button.
Once a screenshot is captured, it will be automatically saved to your iPhone 6 Camera Roll.

Turn off access to Notification Center and Siri from the Lock screen:

Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 8 or higher.
Tap on Touch ID & Passcode.

Enter your passcode when prompted in order to continue.

Siri - Disable access to Siri altogether until your iPhone or iPad is unlocked.

FYI:
Here is a brief description of what each option turns off if you toggle the option to Off —

Today View - Disable access to the today section of the Notification Center pulldown from the Lock screen, including widgets, calendar info, and any other data in the Today tab
Notifications View - Disable access to the Notifications tab of the Notification Center pulldown. This means no one can see any incoming notifications you receive if they pull down the Notification Center shade on the Lock screen
Siri - Disable access to Siri altogether until your iPhone or iPad is unlocked
Passbook - Disallows the use of any Passbook cards from the Lock screen unless the passcode is entered first
Replay with Message - iOS 8 allows you to quick reply to messages by pulling down on them. Turning this setting to Off guarantees that no one can respond to a message from your Lock screen unless a passcode is entered first.
Scroll down to the Allow Access When Locked Section.

To all,

Let's forget the screen shot for now.

If you go to www.rkassoc.org/Lakos on a Desktop or Laptop in Chrome or Firefox, you'll see what thigns are suppose to look like; select USA, a State dropdown appears, select any State, click Go. Select Basin Cleaning, etc.

I have an iPad & an iPhone. On the iPad it works the same way as it should.

On my iPhone, an iPhone 6 about 45 days old, If I select USA, the State dropdown appears for an INSTANT, then disappears, showing Select Country WITHOUT anything selected.

My daughter has an iPhone 5c. Things work as they should on that device.

My wife has an iPhone 6 maybe 1 year old. Things work as they should on that device.

So I conclude this has NOTHING to do with CSS or HTML; it is something about the way my iPhone is set up.

Let's concentrate on this aspect.

Hi Richard,

This question is asking for help with the website loading issue on an iPhone.  If it has to do with the way the iPhone is set up that should be mentioned there.

This question is asking for assistance with a screen shot on an iPhone.  I believe Michael and I adequately answered your questions about this and how to turn off Siri. :)
