identity management between multiple Active Dorectory forests

Hey,

If i had 1000 separate Active Directory forests and without using forest trusts, how could i give access to all of them to a support team who had accounts in a 'support' forest.

I am thinking its a product like Front front identity management?

Thanks in advance

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I think the product that you are thinking of the Active Directory Federated Services. This allows Forest to communicate over there boundry limits using claims based authentication / partnerships.

Microsoft FIM is more for Identity Management with in a Single Forest. I am sure you can also leverage Microsoft FIM with other products like ADFS however, out of the box Microsoft FIM will not work across multiple forests.
