CSS not displaying properly after publish

When running on developer server through VS 2013 all CSS displays properly. But when i publish my web on another server some css class aren't working on IE 11 (on google chrome they work fine) .
ANY ideas? What is causing the disparity between when I view it in IE11 through developer server from VS 2013 and when I view it in IE 11 on production server?

running a page through Visual Studio is not the same as running it directly in IE, they don't use the same exact engines, that's why you're getting different results.

In IE, check which Document Mode you're in, do this by going to the Developer Tools (F12) and in the right hand corner, to the right of the MEMORY tab, you should see a drop down for the Document Mode. Make sure you're in Edge or IE10, play around with the different settings and see if your page comes our right.
