windows issues on laptop
Hi,
I have dell laptop with wwwindow 7 . Every time i start it says
1. battery is low click F1 to continue
2. once i click F1 it automatically takes to black screen..
checking file system on C:the type of file system is NTHS
one of your dissks needs to be checked for consistency.
click any key in 10 sec to cancel...
if i do not click and cancel goes on forever checking each file...1% then 2%....
once i start my computer it shows MCaffe message saying your Firewall tured off. How to turn it on.
How to solve above black screen issue.
also i get dropbox popup saying you do not have do you want to set up. how to resolve .
then i get some geographic survey popup not sure how to remove that either

Yes they are both safe and free for private use. If the computer is on a domain then Hitman pro won't work.

I strongly suggest not running it in safe mode. Run it in standard operating system.
I would suggest that too, but it doesn't sound like the OP can start the machine.
They did say once it starts that it shows that the firewall isn't connected. Gudii9 turn off your wireless and disconnect the computer from everything before you boot it up. This will keep from allowing the system to infect other devices. Download the files on another computer and use a thumb drive to install them on the infected computer.

you can also measure if it is still holdding 3V at least
the type is most often a CR2032 - cheap to replace - can be less than 1$
but as said - on many laptops it is difficult to reach - what model have you ?
test also with ALL external devices disconnected : disks, printers etc..
and yes next thing is testing disk drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic - as Rindi said
many errors can also be corrected by running HDDRegenerator - not free -

i am starting laptop with DVD that could be one issue
