How to change the bash shell prompt?
I would like to have a shell prompt which would show like below:
root hostname OS PWD
where root would be red and flashing and OS would be debian or redhat as per the OS. How can I integrate with ssh. Like whenever I ssh to a new host then my bash prompt would be set and few of my aliases would be available? I do not want to put them in .bashrc file in all the server. Is there a way I can integrate it with ssh?
