SQL SERVER 2012 Master database issue

Hello Everyone,

I setup a DR sql server for our ERP system.  I was having some issue with some of the reports, so I restored the Prod sql Server Master database to the DR sql server.  Now I can't start the sql server because it is looking for the Prod sql server paths.

Is there anything I can do to reset the master database? Can I uninstall and reinstall sql server?

We are running sql server 2012 R2.

Thanks,

Bill

Hello Brian,

Thanks for the quick Response..  I do not have Rebuildm.exe.  Do I need to install if from the CD?

Thanks,

Here is one that better fits your situation since it doesn't seem like you have a good backup of the corrupted instance.
