How do I keep Internet Explorer 11 from crashing so many times every day?

I have completed the following:
1. Reset IE from the browser.
2. Uninstalled/reinstalled the browser.
3. Checked on updates for the drivers.
4. I viewed the event viewer log and show a faulting module name: igdumd32.dll, version:, time stamp: 0x4d0abcf7.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Many Thanks....

In addition, run System File Checker and if Windows 8 or greater, also run DISM (Restore Health).

System File Checker:

Open cmd.exe with Run as Administrator and run SFC /SCANNOW.
Allow to complete, restart or, preferably, shut down the computer and then start up again.
Test to see if the problem has been corrected.

Open cmd.exe with Run as Administrator.
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Scanhealth (takes 15 - 20 minutes).
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth (takes 15 - 20 minutes).
Restart the computer and test.

David and John,

I was able to find success on a particular notebook where the IE 11 browser kept stopping expectantly. I am now experiencing this same IE11 message when trying to update a computer from IE9 to IE11.

I have completed the following:
 1. Reset IE from the browser.
 2. Uninstalled/reinstalled the browser.
 3. Checked on updates for the drivers from
 4. Upon reviewing the event log at the time I received the unexpected stopping of IE11, I show the follow information (See Attached File).

Do you have any suggestion of what still may be causing IE11 not to install. IE9 works fine once I uninstall IE11. What steps would you suggest next? Reimage machine? I appreciate your feedback.
