Migrating SQL Server 2012 DB - Can't log in.

Hello,

I have migrated a database from SQL 2005 to SQL 2012. Everything has been replicated (to my knowledge; I am not the most proficient with SQL) but I am having login issues. We had created a service account on the "old" database which has been replicated on the "new." The problem is, this database connects to a website on our Intranet that uses PHP. When I SSH into the PHP files and edit them to connect to the new database with the same service account credentials I get several errors. I have included a screen shot of what I am getting.

Any thoughts or advice appreciated.

Presumably the logins have been transferred
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/918992
and you are able to login using SSMS with those logins.

You did make sure that the PHP version mssql_ support 2012 as well as made sure that SQL is listening on port 1433, the windows advanced firewall is permitting TCP connections on port 1433.

Your error suggest that you do not check the status of your commands prior to proceeding to the next one.
