Hyper-V 2012 R2 Core

I have had 2 VM successfully running on the server core for the past 2 months.  Then one VM only shows a white screen when you try to RDP to it.  The other is working fine?

Also, the main problem is I cannot access it via Hyper-V Manager anymore.  I was last able to using a Windows 8.1 Pro machine 2 months ago.  I now am trying to use a Windows 10 Pro and Windows 7 Pro (with Remote Server Tools installed) when trying to access the Hyper-V server.

Using Windows 10, It wants me to "Enable delegation of user credentials".  When I choose Yes, I get an error it cannot be enabled (CredSSP authentication is currently disabled....?

Using Windows 7 Hyper-V Manager - when trying to connect Remote Virtual Machine I get "This operation on computer failed"

Nothing has changed in the past 2 months.  I need help accessing the server using Hyper-V Manager so I can check out the VM's.

Thanks for your help Experts!

So I ran this on the Server:  "enable-wsmancredssp -role server" worked fine
Then I tried to run this on the Client:  "enable-wsmancredssp -role client -delegatecomputer PATEL-HYPERV"  It did not work.

I attached a screen shot.

Also, I am in a Workgroup.

Why not just download 5nine manager and use that?  Far easier than trying to configure a workgroup connection.

Problems using Powershell and Active Directory?

Managing Active Directory does not always have to be complicated.  If you are spending more time trying instead of doing, then it's time to look at something else. For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why

To be clear, 5nine would be installed directly on the hyper-v host. Remote management through rdp or use it directly on the console.

OMG LEE W, it worked like a charm.  I don't know what the deal is with MS Hyper-V Manager but the 5nine connected up to the Hyper-V box without any problems!

The one VM I could not get to anymore via RDP was switched to a Public Network.  I used the Console in 5nine to access the VM and switched to "Work Network" and now RDP works fine!

Thank You, Thank You for your suggestion!

There is an issue with RSAT/RSMT Hyper-V in Windows 10 when trying to manage downlevel versions (2012 R2 and earlier).

Keep a Win 81 VM around with RSAT/RSMT installed at that version level to manage your Core server. Hopefully the issues in Win10 will get resolved down the road.

Third party is not necessarily the answer.

BTW, "Core" in 2012 R2 is fully manageable via PowerShell with Event Logs and more available. Or, MinShell is an option that gets installed depending on how things got set up (Server Manager comes up when logging in to Core).
