Modular Power Supply Question
Hello,
Looking to run some power from a modular power supply to supply DVD drives and Hard drives power.
Is the best thing to do is run a sata line to the DVD drive area, then use a power splitter to supply the 3 drives?

Depends on your PSU, the quality (and hence the price you paid) and chosen specs. Power is divided internally in rails. A lower quality PSU obviously also has lower output yield on a single rail and might overload when putting more than 2 devices on it, while a high quality PSU might easily take 8+ devices on a single rail without breaking a sweat. Sometimes you don't know how the rails are divided internally, but that's not an issue here as your question mainly focuses on one rail (as you use one cable with splitter, making it impossible to have it on multiple rails).
