Information Store Service on Exchange 2010 is not starting

My Exchange 2010 server Information Store Service is not starting and I get the below error on the windows Event log.


Active Manager failed to mount database Mailbox Database 0332199996 on server BDTD.sadr.local. Error: An Active Manager operation failed with a transient error. Please retry the operation. Error: Database action failed with transient error. Error: A transient error occurred during a database operation. Error: MapiExceptionNetworkError: Unable to make admin interface connection to server. (hr=0x80040115, ec=-2147221227)

I already rebooted it and tried but not working. This is also a Vm.

Please help

Hi,

•      Synchronize time with DC and then try to start it.
•      Forefront should be disable
•      Try to increase time out value for Exchange Server store service and then try.

I tried em all and nothing works.
This started happening after the "Update Rollup 10 for exchange server 2010 sp3 installed" 2 days ago.

This should fix Information Store service crashes randomly in an Exchange Server 2010 environment.

Finally I was able to fix the issue. It was the AV. Below are the steps I did.

Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
In Registry Editor, locate the following subkey in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\VirusScan
In the right pane, double-click Enabled.
Click Decimal, type 0 in the Value data box, and then click OK.
On the File menu, click Exit to quit Registry Editor.
Start the Information Store.
