"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are the users using Outlook in cached or online mode?  When using shared mailboxes, they should  be in online so that they are getting their data directly from the server and not an .OST.

Turn off cached mode.

At Step 4 uncheck the box.

That should do it for you as the Outlook clients will now be pulling all of their data from the server, the exact same way OWA does.
