vmwarever6.* and flash

One of our client is about to get new esxi hosts for his cluster, He is thinking of upgrading his esxi environment to ver6.0.
But they are not allowed to use flash, my understanding is that web client requires flash and sphere desk top client does not show the storage view. This case He can only migrate to 5.5.
Is there anyway we can use web client without flash in vmware ver 6.0?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Rethink Flash. Flash is built into newer operating systems like Windows 8 and 10 and cannot be uninstalled. So just ask the client to rethink (or be left in the dust).

The vSphere Web Client does require the use of flash, this has been the same since the Web Client was released.

The environment can still be managed correctly using the older vSphere Client (based on C#), but VMware are slowly phasing this out in favour of the Web Client.

Newer features can only be managed with the Web Client, e.g. virtual machine version 10 and 11 machines, VMware Data Protection, VSphere Replication, Shared Nothing vMotion, so many new features, this is just some off the top of my head you cannot do with the older vSphere Client.

So, if you client cannot use Flash, they will not be able to use the management interfaces.
