How to create workflow in SharePoint 2013 Phone Call Memo?

I'm assuming that you are storing the phone call memo in a SharePoint List.

Also tell us if you are using any workflow solutions or you are not aware of any e.g Nintex. If there are nothing as such you are using then you can create a SharePoint Designer workflow on that list with a condition to start the workflow which sends an email, whenever a new item is created in that list.

Let me know your expertise level with SharePoint Designer or any other workflow tools, so that I can suggest better.

We haven't created any workflow yet with this SP2013, that's we're asking for help on how to start and where to start... :)

We just want when the receptionist receives a call and the recipient isn't available, they will just input the data then submit, and it will send an email to the recipient...
