I use iTunes. Install iTunes on the computer with Outlook, connect your iPhone, go to the iPhone settings page for syncing and set up Outlook to sync. I do this and it works well.

I have the email thru GoDaddy. I set it up on my outlook on my pc and is working great. I set it up also on my phone and it is also working great.  but how can I have the calendar on my phone syncronised with the calendar on my pc ?

do you have a document with the steps by steps please...

ok noiw I see what you mean.

I am trying to type an appointment on my phone and It should replicate on my outlook on my pc. I called GoDaddy and they told me that unless I have outlook365 or outlook installed on an Exchange server I won't be able to do that.

do you know a way around it ?
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
I do not use Go Daddy, but I use Mail.com and Outlook 2016 (2013 until recently). I keep my calendar in Outlook (not online) and my iPhone syncs the Calendar and tells me where I need to be. I have doing this for some years now and it works.

What is different about GoDaddy?  Are you using POP or IMAP?   Where is your calendar (in your PST file or online)?
ItaliabellaAuthor Commented:
With the free email from Godaddy I can only use POP.  my calendar is in my outlook 2013 which is installed on my desktop, therefore my PST is local not on line...
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
I use POP, so the method above (my screenshot) will work just fine. My PST file is local as well. Try it.

John my screen looks different. it sink over the air. how can I stop it from doing it ?

I am attaching a screenshot
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
Back in in iTunes to look at Sync Options and disable Sync over the air - which then means Sync via USB cable which is what I do
ItaliabellaAuthor Commented:
I found them on the iphone and disable it. but let me ask you this. if you disable the synk option over the air how can my phone talk and synk with my outlook when I am not connected using the USB  cable ?
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
You sync by the USB cable OR by Wi-Fi and those are the only two options. I still use USB (reliable).
ItaliabellaAuthor Commented:
ok this is what I am trying to accomplish: every time I schedule an appointment on the road I want to see also in my outlook once I go back home. without plugging in the cable every time. how can I do that ? please...
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
If you do not want to plug in the cable. sync over your Home Wi-Fi. That will work. You need to select one of the two methods.

If you accept appointments from the iPhone, be clear in you own head who owns what. I always carry my computer, sync from Outlook to iPhone and always first thing in the morning before leaving and the phone tells me where I need to be. If you do it the other way, allow the phone to be the owner of your appointments.  Keeping calendars perfect and in sync takes a bit of discipline.
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
By the way, iTunes must be open to sync over Wi-Fi. Plugging in a USB cable opens iTunes.

in my phone I don't have outlook. I create my appointments on yahoo calendar. when I go home will transfer those appointments to my outlook ?
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
You do not need Outlook on the iPhone. Use the Apple Calendar to enter appointments. Using Yahoo just adds complexity. The Apple Calendar, Notes, and Contacts all sync to Outlook .  I have been doing just this for years (all the way back to Blackberry many years back).
