Script to install/update a program without a silent installer

I have a program for a number users that is regularly being updated by the publisher (at least once a week) and I want to find a way to do the update via a script so that I don't have to manually go to each workstation to do the update.

It does not have a silent install option.

Does anyone have ideas on how I could accomplish this using a group policy?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes you can its straight forward to use the group policy to push the program http://blog.pluralsight.com/installing-software-using-gpos-on-windows-server-2008

I don't believe you'll be able to do it without a silent install option.

If the users have the rights to do the install, about the best I can think of is a user login script which would start the install, but then they would have to click through it to complete.

This will also depend on the software, if it has the options that will allow you to run it in a script and allow it to run with or without user interaction--what are you trying to keep updated?
