I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

We need more information.

1.  What version of IE are you using?  Have you tried others? (Chrome, FireFox, Opera....etc.)
2.  Is it this one attachment or any attachment?
3.  What is the size of the attachment?
4.  What OS are you using?
5.  What do you see on the screen?  Are you getting an error message?  If so what does it say exactly?

With more clarification we will be able to help you.

As it stands now, you haven't even asked a question....just made a statement.

This is in regards to OWA (Exchange 2010).

1. IE version 11
2. Any attachment type, i.e. pdf, doc, xls, etc.
3. Any size
4. Windows 7 Professional
5. No message on the screen, when you click the attachment and then "Open" nothing happens, but if you click "Save" or "Save As" you can save the document and open it.

Resetting IE 11 corrects the issue.  We are trying to see if there is any other way to resolve the issue.

It is a function of the PDF reader software.  What program are you using?  We typically use Adobe Reader and Foxit Reader.  Installing / updating these should rebuild the association for the browser.

The only resolution we were able to find was resetting IE.
