dfs namespace does not have rights

I have a dfs replication that was existing and working Added a DFS Namespace to gain access to it.

Created the namespace
added the 2 namespace severs that have the dfs replication on them and under the share permissions I have 'everyone' set to change and read.
Added folder targets and pointed to the 2 folders that are replicating using DFS, and in those, the permissions are set to 'everyone' change and read.
I have checked the actual folders and they are shared, the permissions seem correct, but when I go to access it as a regular user, I get permissions denied. If I access it as an admin, I am able to see the folders in the namespace share.

Missing rights somewhere, any suggestions?

thanks in advance
