Created a Search Engine Website - But it Fails to Make Searches

I purchased a search engine script from a website and installed it on GoDaddy.com hosting. I followed the instructions verbatim. It does not display the outcome of the searches. Instead, it gives Error 404 - Page Not Found.

Does anyone here on this website know why this might be?

I might consider to find some ebooks on Amazon.com or some other site to help me understand this, if you want to recommend such a book.

My search engine is: http://www.quest4me.com

Could you please give some more details around the script. What are these scripts for ??

ASKER

I purchased it from a Clickbank Affiliate. The affiliate website is: http://your-own-search.com

You can read all about the script there. It is written in PHP and it's supposed to implement my own search engine (just like if it was the Google search engine).

I must have configured something wrong, to the best of my knowledge. I don't think that the script itself is defective. I posted a message on the Clickbank website to their customer support.

Yes, I know that it's possible technically for a programmer to accomplish the same thing with Google search, but this script is pre-programmed to place advertisements that earn income, and it also looks very pretty. That's why I took the chance of buying it. It would take me a long time to program the same thing all by myself.
thank you
