Where can I get a digital gift card?

There have been several occasions where I've been assisted by someone on my team who works in a different state. The other day, I was joking around and mentioned a "digital soft drink of your choice" and it got me to thinking.

Does such and animal exist? Are there digital gift certificates that one can email or send via a mobile device? I would like to think that there are, but thus far all I've seen are cards that you can order online, but they're hard copies that are mailed within 24 hours. I'm looking for something you email a person?

Any ideas?
