default a browse button when opened to a specific path

Good evening experts.
I understand the security feature FakePath for html 5.
What I am curious of though is it possible to set the path when selecting a bootstrap file browse button?
In other words if I have a form input of myPath
and a user selects this
<span class="btn btn-default btn-file">
    Browse <input type="file">
</span>

Open in new window

Is it possible that I could have a click function etc. that would open the browse window in myPath?

Thanks

The browse path is set by the Browser / OS - you can't change it from script. All part of the security model.

Okay thanks for the info. I was unsure if it could be set but I knew the "fakePath" mechanism prevented it from being changed.
