Redirect opening of websites to local browser XA7.6

I have a farm with published desktop on 2012R2 servers. Users access it by going to an url to login.
The users run it full screen. They complain that browsing websites are too slow on the server.
I've tried to enable "Host to Client Redirection" for a user in Citrix policy, but it doesnt seem to have an effect.
I had Citrix Receiver 4.1 at first, but then upgraded to 4.3 on client to no avail.

What am I doing wrong?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I'm not sure I follow this.  If you have the desktop in fullscreen, that would be your are suppressing the local desktop, and thus suppressing the local browser as well.  I would change that to running the desktop in window mode.  That said, you have to enable the option during the client install as well as applying the server settings.
