HP MSA SAN Virtual Disk Status Quarantined error?

Hi all,

I hope you can help me we have an old HP MSA SAN with the following error: Virtual Disk Status Quarantined
Screenshot also attached

I am not sure what this means, do we have a fault?

Can you shutdown the unit and reboot, looks like the SAN is not picking them up, could be a firemware issue or something else.

8 * 3.5" disks in DG5A and 5 in CA-SAS = 13 disks total in a 12 disk chassis. (OK you could have an expansion shelf but nobody runs a shelf with just 1 disk in it).

Pretty obvious that someone's done some shuffling and removed the disks without deleting the vDisk. You caan just delete the vdisk, the volumes you're using are made up from CA-SAS. You can take that 1TB SATA out if you have a blank to fill the hole with, it's no good as a spare for the 300GB SAS disks.

Sorry for the delay guys, I will login today to take another look at this. I don't think there is another shelf there will check with the guys on site.
