What happens when you encrypt an Ironkey or other encrypted drive with Bitlocker To Go

We are looking into implementing Bitlocker To Go across an enterprise that has a user bas of >16000.

We would like to know if anyone has experimented with enabling Bitlocker To Go and using a secure/encrypted USB drive such as Ironkey, Kanguru, Aegis, etc.

You can have multiple encryption in place, like storing pgp files on tripple encrypted disk.
