What happens when you encrypt an Ironkey or other encrypted drive with Bitlocker To Go

We are looking into implementing Bitlocker To Go across an enterprise that has a user bas of >16000.

We would like to know if anyone has experimented with enabling Bitlocker To Go and using a secure/encrypted USB drive such as Ironkey, Kanguru, Aegis, etc.

You can have multiple encryption in place, like storing pgp files on tripple encrypted disk.
Bitlocker2go encrypted volumes will show up after the first encryption layer is unlocked and will ask for a password, then.
