"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you using dirsync? You will not be able to edit the alias if you are syncing with your local AD. Otherwise, you can change it with something like this:

$aliases = (Get-Mailbox

Set-Mailbox -EmailAddresses $aliases

We do use dirsync. I check Ad and cannot find a way to edit it.
Vasil Michev (MVP)Commented:
It's not in AD. Pretty much the only certain way to get rid of it is to disable dirsync and edit it.

You can try adding the alias in AD, syncing, and then removing it. No guarantees it will work though.

Where would I add alias in AD? I don't have an email addresses tab.
